A store assistant manager giving her first name as Brenda told Clarke Broadcasting that the power outage was caused by construction going on in conjunction with the grocery store addition, but declined to comment further as to the time frame of exactly when and how long the lights went out or provide more details on the cause.

According to Chief Mark Stinson, Sonora Police and the California Highway Patrol Sonora unit, recently responding to a disturbance on the 100 block of Columbia Way, arrived and subsequently found two suspects who were hiding in nearby bushes with a backpack.
