When the inning was over, the Steamers had scored six times, the four-run TImberwolf lead was gone and Fulton would go on to a 6-4 win in the Class A Ashton-Franklin Center Regional Championship on Saturday.

Hiawatha students will follow today, with Hinckley, Sycamore and Somonauk on Sunday, Kaneland on May 31 and DeKalb closing the season June 6. It's a tough world out there, and plenty of graduates are either headed there immediately or headed to college first.
