    While a January 3, 2017 robbery at the Hilton Garden Inn of Smyrna remains under investigation, two women have been arrested for their crime at a hotel in Nashville and possibly a second robbery in Rutherford County. The two women believed to be responsible for an armed robbery of a Holiday Inn in Nashville were identified as Theresa Keith, 32, and Cierra Villegas, 26. Despite the arrests, the Hilton Garden Inn of Smyrna was robbed by two white males.
