    Residents of Slidell's Eden Isles community were stunned when authorities arrested Lanier Lively, 73, and charged him with 500 counts of possession of child pornography. When the Louisiana State Police Special Victims Unit executed a search warrant at Lively's Windward Passage home, detectives confiscated 23 electronic devices containing over 31 terabytes of suspected child pornography.

As a St. Tammany Parish deputy was on his way home Thursday evening from a 12-hour shift, he noticed a woman flagging him down, and she "warned him about an approaching truck driving erratically, passing people on the shoulder, and running 18-wheelers off of the road," the Sheriff's Office said.
