    A lawsuit was filed in federal court in Camden on May 21, by Sicklerville resident and Rowan University student Rocca Creel, West Deptford resident Thomas Hamill, and Advocates for Disabled Americans, a non-profit organization, claiming Rowan University and University President Ali Houshmand are in violation of the Americans With Disabilities Act and the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 in not providing wheelchair-friendly conditions throughout the campus. Creel and Hamill, who both use wheelchairs, claim the university's lack of wheelchair accommodation has stopped them from using and enjoying the campus to its full extent.

Police said 38-year-old Wilson Feliciano, of Mango Court, was arrested Wednesday when officers responded to a report someone was inside a residence and spotted Feliciano through a window at about 4:30 p.m. Police reported seeing Feliciano using an electric tool to cut copper pipes, but he fled to the home's attic when he saw officers arrive.
