    Authorities say a 27-year-old man from Shoreline, Washington, died when his motorcycle collided head-on with an ATV in the Oregon Dunes National Recreation Area. The Coos County Sheriff's Office says Lucien Imbodien was traveling north Tuesday when he came into the path of an ATV heading south near No Name Hill.

    The coach and members of the of the King's High School boys basketball team say it was a "miracle" no one was seriously hurt when their bus overturned on its side on an Interstate 5 off-ramp at Mountlake Terrace. KOMO reports Assistant Principal and coach Rick Skeen told a student assembly Tuesday it was "nothing short of a gift from God" that everyone was able to walk out of the hospital a few hours after the Saturday night crash.

    The Washington State Patrol says a bus carrying members of a private Christian high school basketball team crashed Saturday night, injuring 10. Trooper Mark Francis says the 53-year-old female bus driver and nine basketball players were taken to local hospitals with lacerations and other minor injuries. The bus left Mount Vernon and was heading southbound on Interstate 5 after 10 p.m. Saturday.

    A career criminal nicknamed the "Alabama Band Bandit" faces felony charges of robbing five banks in July in Lynnwood, Bellingham and Shoreline. The FBI had offered a $5,000 reward in August for information on "a white male wearing a wig, glasses, and some sort of hat" who went into five banks in July and threatened tellers with a gun.
