    A 58-year-old man found dead inside his Shelbyville residence Sunday appears to have died from natural causes, authorities say. Michigan State Police investigators responded to the home in the 11000 block of Keller Road about 1 p.m. May 24 and began an on-scene investigation that lasted about 8 hours after finding the man deceased.

    An Allegan County man has been sentenced in connection with in an armed home invasion in Oceola Township last year. 18-year-old Cody James Debruyn of Shelbyville was sentenced Thursday to serve at least 22 years in prison for his part in the armed home invasion last June of a home on Hughes Road.
