    In Monday night's Shelby City Council meeting, the council voted on a resolution to end discussions with the Muskingum Watershed Conservancy District and their proposed Shelby Flood Reduction Project, ending with a vote that left two councilmen voting in favor of ending things as they are, and three councilmen that voted almost symbolically to continue discussion with the District, to indicate their unhappiness with how the District handled things. Councilman Nathan Martin made an impassioned statement during discussion of the resolution, commenting that the people of Shelby weren't given a real opportunity to explore their options for the project.
