A Hamden resident was arrested on a warrant Feb. 4 for allegedly going to the Westfield Mall in Milford and assaulting an acquaintance who was working at one of the stores there. Police said Tahirah Armstrong, 20, was charged with assault and breach of peace for going to Forever 21 at the mall Dec. 31 and assaulting someone working in the store. Comment?
Police charged a Seymour man with engaging police in a pursuit after he allegedly ignored an officer's signal to pull over and drove onto I-95. Police said that on Feb. 4 at about 10 p.m. they signaled for Jason Lee, 38, of Bungay Road, Seymour, to pull over as he was driving on the Boston Post Road because he reportedly drove through a red light.
