    Maryland State Police said a Severn man was hospitalized Sunday night after wrecking a Corvette during a race up Interstate 97. Police began receiving calls from motorists at about 7:40 p.m. that a red Chevrolet Corvette and white Crown Victoria were racing up the interstate just north of Annapolis. A trooper responded to the area and found a 2008 red Corvette that had lost control, went off the road and overturned before colliding with several trees.
