    Clallam County Sheriff's detectives arrested 55-year-old Sequim resident Douglas J. Allison on March 29, following an investigation that he sexually assaulted a 10-year-old girl, Clallam County Sheriff's Office officials said today, March 30. The victim disclosed to Detectives that Allison had sexually assaulted her on multiple occasions at the school since the beginning of the school year, the sheriff's office said. During the ensuing investigation, a second victim - an 11-year-old female student at the school - told Clallam County detectives Allison had sexually assaulted her in similar fashion, according to the sheriff's department.

    Sequim police are investigating an armed robbery that happened in the early morning hours today, Friday, Jan. 29, at the Sequim West Inn, 740 W. Washington St. According to law enforcement officials, the robbery victim reported a person he knew knocked on the door of his rented room at about 3:45 a.m. But w hen he answered the door, an armed man the victim did not know entered the room and demanded money and valuables. The suspect was armed with a smaller handgun.
