    William Derek Touchstone, 33, was denied bond on Friday morning in his first-degree assault case for shooting at a motorist in Semmes last week. On the morning of January 25, the male victim in the shooting said after purchasing coffee, he got in his vehicle and began driving east on Highway 98. As he approached Ed George Road, a white Hyundai Sonata that was in front of him began to slow down and came to complete stop in the middle of the road.

    The Mobile County Sheriff's Office has arrested 33-year-old William Derek Touchstone as the shooter in what police called a road rage incident on Highway 98 last Wednesday morning. The MCSO Spokeswoman Lori Myles was taken into custody and charged with probation violation on Jan. 25 and has been in Metro Jail since that date.

Later, deputies took the man's account of what happened at a local hospital.
