    A man from Selma has been arrested for allegedly running over a Hanford man and purposely killing him near Selma just after midnight on Monday, the Fresno County Sheriff's Office said. The Sheriff's Office said Saul Sepulveda Mendoza, 31, was found sitting in his car at Highway 41 and Main Street in Stratford around 8:30 a.m., and was arrested on suspicion of murder.

    One person was killed and four people were injured after a man driving a stolen muscle car ran a stop sign and hit a minivan carrying two infants in a rural area south of Kingsburg, the California Highway Patrol said Thursday. Officer John Tyler said the CHP learned of a stolen 2008 Chevrolet Corvette from a third-party GPS provider around 1:30 p.m. Officers found the car in northern Tulare County and tried to conduct a traffic stop.
