    A 32-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence after he rammed into a school bus as it was unloading students in the Security-Widefield area Friday evening, according to Colorado State Patrol. Caleb Zampedri, of Colorado Springs, was driving northbound on Grinnell Boulevard at Fountain Valley School Road at about 6:50 p.m. when he allegedly hit the bus, which was stopped on the shoulder of the road, partially blocking the right lane, due to mechanical issues, according to a news release from State Patrol.

Venetucci Elementary School was on lockout from 10:05 to 10:35, said Samantha Briggs, a spokeswoman for Widefield School District 3. During the lockout, it was "business as usual" inside the school, but the doors were locked and security personnel escorted guests inside and outside of the building, Briggs said.
