The old ferry has done a lot in its near-century of life - including playing a role in World War II - but it's finally found its way back to Astoria, restored and reinstated in the place it first called home. The ferry pulled into the 17th Street Dock in Astoria on Monday morning, representing the last surviving boat from the coastal town's once-thriving ferry service across the Columbia River to Megler, Wash.
