    A man accused of beating a woman with a 5-foot metal pipe and threatening to drown her in a bathtub was among the people indicted on criminal charges last week by the Waldo County grand jury. Colby M. Corriveau, 20, of Belfast came to the attention of police at 7:30 a.m. Aug. 3, when dispatchers received a phone call from a woman whispering she needed to report domestic abuse and that officers couldn't tell him she had called or it would be bad for her, according to a report filed at Belfast District Court.
