    Almost a week after his arrest following a manhunt near Marion, a Sears man is facing several charges, including assault, fleeing police and destruction of property. Police say Zachary Graham Newsome, 32, fled the scene of a traffic stop for an equipment violation on M-61 near M-66 in Osceola County on March 27. Newsome allegedly ran from his vehicle into nearby woods, where a perimeter was established and K-9 units from the Michigan State Police Mount Pleasant post and Osceola County Sheriff's Office were sent to track him.
