    A Savannah man reportedly living in the Hinesville area is wanted by the Chatham-Savannah Narcotics Team for his alleged role in what authorities are calling a "large drug operation" responsible for trafficking drugs in Chatham County. Eric Brown, who is 5-feet, 11 inches and has short black hair and brown eyes, is one of seven people who were indicted Aug. 17 by a Chatham County grand jury after a year-long investigation involving CNT, the Drug Enforcement Administration and the Federal Bureau of Investigation's Southeast Georgia Violent Crime Task Force.

    A hit and run accident Friday evening left a bicyclist injured and then arrested after it was learned he was wanted for failing to appear in court. According to Georgia State Patrol Trooper Eric Wilkes, the cyclist, Jeffrey Allen Weaver, 51, of Bloomingdale, was riding south on Isle of Wight Road in Midway when he was hit by someone driving a yellow vehicle.
