According to the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation, inspectors initially closed the Jin Jin 1 restaurant located at 2078 U.S. Highway 98 West, #104 in Santa Rosa Beach on July 13 after discovering two high priority and 16 basic food safety violations.

    Detectives determined that 36-year-old Stephen Anthony Taylor of Santa Rosa Beach was responsible for the death and immediately relayed information to surrounding agencies, the release said.  The Walton County Sheriff's Office and State Attorney's Office for the 1st Judicial Circuit are assisting in the ongoing investigation, according to the press release.  Taylor was later transported to the Walton County Jail and charged with grand theft between $5,000 and $10,000, burglary with assault or battery and first-degree premeditated murder. 5 comments
