    A Santa Rosa Beach woman was killed and two passengers in her car suffered critical injuries Wednesday afternoon in a one-vehicle crash on Interstate 10. Joni Pridgen, 38, was driving a 2005 Pontiac Sunfire east on I-10 at 12:40 p.m. near Mossy Head when she lost control of her vehicle, according to the FHP. The car veered onto the south shoulder and hit a mile marker sign before it sideswiped a tree and crashed into another tree.

Circuit Court Judge John Brown passed sentence after Crank, of Santa Rosa Beach, pleaded no contest to a single charge of felony battery.
