    The City of Santa Cruz Water Department announced today that the city has ended its "dry" season with the city's drinking water reservoir ten percent higher than expected. Accordingly, the City will temporarily suspend water rationing beginning November 1. In normal rainfall years when the reservoir is full going into the dry season, the Water Department typically manufactures 11-12 million gallons of water per day in the summer, ending the dry season with the reservoir at about 80% of capacity.
