    A group of six men dubbed by authorities as the "Lucky Lotto Bandits" has been tied to more than 30 burglaries of gas stations and convenience stores where they allegedly stole rolls of Lotto Scratchers, cash, cigarettes, and in some instances, entire cash registers. While investigators from San Jose police - along with Santa Clara and Campbell police, the Sunnyvale Department of Public Safety, the Santa Clara County Sheriff's Office and California Lottery security and law-enforcement division - suspect a trail of burglaries spanning from the South Bay to Gold Country, they have formally linked 32 cases to the group.
