    ALFRED - The charge against a Sanford man accused of fatally striking a pedestrian who was walking along Route 109 in Acton in July has been reduced from vehicular manslaughter to a charge of leaving the scene of an accident. Cameron White, 20, of Shawmut Avenue in Sanford, was initially charged with vehicular manslaughter following the July 18 accident that took the life of Kenneth Allen, 50, of Wells and formerly of Ogunquit.  Two witnesses told York County Sheriff's deputies that Allen had just left Willy's Ale House on Route 109 and was walking north when he was struck by a small automobile that was also traveling north.
