York County deputies, Sanford Fire and Rescue and Acton Rescue workers responded to a 12:40 a.m. call for a pedestrian who had been struck by an automobile as he was walking north on Route 109. Witnesses told deputies that Kenneth Allen, 50, of Wells and formerly of Ogunquit, had just left Willy's Ale House, at 1060 Route 109, before being struck by a small automobile that was also traveling north.
