    Many Claremont voters are preparing to officially weigh in on Measure SC, among other initiatives and candidates, on Tuesday, June 5. Shelley Desautels, Claremont's city clerk, said the city will provide 11 polling locations Tuesday to its 21,219 registered voters, of whom 10,058 are on permanent vote-by-mail status. This special municipal election - which cost the city about $55,000 after approval by the council on February 27 - includes primaries for the US Senate and House as well as state seats for the legislature, governor, lieutenant governor, attorney general and secretary of state.
