    A former San Diego Unified School District investigator is suing the district and top officials for wrongful termination, alleging he was fired for refusing to leave out examples from his investigation of a principal who was accused of failing to address sexual-assault claims against students. Michael Gurriere, who worked as a detective with the Charleston County Sheriff's Office in South Carolina before moving to San Diego in 2013, claims he was fired last year for resisting orders to exclude key findings from his report.
