The attack happened in the backyard of the residence in the southeast corner of Beeville and involved two bulldogs that the family had owned for some time.

    The National Weather Service is predicting the San Antonio River at Goliad State Park to rise to almost 10 feet above flood stage Thursday and Friday. As of noon Sunday, the river was at 9.28 feet, but heavy rainfall in the San Antonio area is expected to cause the river to rise to 34.5 feet by Thursday evening.
