    The charges against former Itawamba County Development Council executive director Harvey Clements and his wife Sandy were dismissed after the couple reached an agreement with their former employer, according to information provided by the district attorney prosecuting the case. According to documents given to The Itawamba County Times by District Attorney John Weddle, an agreement was reached between the Clementses and the ICDC on May 18, which led to the dismissal of embezzlement charges against them by Judge Thomas J. Gardner III on May 22. According to the documents, Harvey Clements agreed to pay the ICDC a sum of $29,948, plus an additional $1,400 for attorney's fees. 4 comments
