Haggard will play at 7:30 p.m. Nov. 11, and Browne, along with his longtime band and Larry Campbell and Teresa Williams, will perform at 8 p.m. Nov. 22. Tickets for Haggard are $55, $69 and $85; for Browne, $79 $98 and $119.

    The board of the Salina Airport Authority on Wednesday approved an action to file a $2 million claim against the former Hawker Beechcraft Corp. for its role in polluting the ground underneath the Salina Regional Airport and the Salina Airport Industrial Center. Tim Rogers, the airport authority's executive director, said the airport board's approval is the first of four Salina public entities that will have to approve the action before the claim is submitted to attorneys representing the former Hawker Beechcraft.

    Kansas Wesleyan University says it will use a $1 million donation from Sunflower Bank for a much-needed upgrade to its technology. University President Matt Thompson says the donation will cover most of a $1.2 million contract to install a one-gigabit fiber network across the campus in Salina, including in residence halls.
