    For the first time since 1931, Commissioners will meet in the chandeliered courthouse of Buena Vista Heritage Museum, which was once the Chaffee County Courthouse. Commissioners bounce between meeting in Salida and in the conference room of the Buena Vista School District's administrative offices, which are in the building that was once the county jail, but that never felt right to the Buena Vista Heritage Society, who have long petitioned for the BOCC to have a meeting in the old courthouse.
