He was a retired artist and musician and loved to sing. Survivors include his wife, Gladys E. Morris Glover, to whom he was married on April 16, 1951; daughters, Melinda G. Gilbert of Richmond, Barbara (Mike) Chambers of Richmond, and Sheila (Steve) Teaman of Fort Wayne, Indiana; six grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; nieces; nephews; and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Sharon Alexander; sons-in-law, Keith Alexander and William Gilbert; and 14 brothers and sisters. Visitation for Donald D. Glover will be from 12 to 2:00 p.m. Friday, December 26, 2014, at Doan & Mills Funeral Home, 790 National Road West, Richmond. Funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday, December 26, 2014, at Doan & Mills Funeral Home with Rev. Ron Naylor officiating. Burial will be in Earlham Cemetery in the Veterans Field of Honor with military honors provided by the Wayne County Honor Guard.
