"You say she was a mother figure to you?" Mancuso asked, referring to Barbara Rabins, 70, who was pronounced dead in the Tedesco residence in August 2011.

John Tedesco, 45, and Tina Tedesco, 39, are charged with third-degree murder in neglecting Barbara Rabins, a mentally disabled woman they had met years prior and had taken in to care for, and stealing her trust fund money for their own personal use.
