According to police, Patrolman Kyle Lamar stopped a 2013 Mazda on W. Colfax Avenue at Ashwood Avenue for a moving violation at about 12:15 p.m. The dirver of the car, Richard E. Burgess, 25, of Perth Amboy was found to be in possession of under 50 grams of marijuana, a controlled dangerous substance, and drug paraphernalia.
