    ROSELLE PARK - Police reported that they charged four people with possession of a controlled dangerous substance, CDS, after four separate motor vehicle stops for equipment violations over a period of three days, Friday, Saturday and Sunday, Jan. 16, 17 and 18. At 11:42 p.m., on Friday, Jan. 16, Patrolman Joseph DeQuarto stopped a 1996 Honda on Linden Road at First Avenue for an unspecified equipment violation. The driver, Jeffrey Alleyne, 20, of Linden, was found to be in possession of CDS,, under 50 grams of marijuana.

Police were called to the store at 9:37 p.m. An employee said a heavyset man with gray hair in a ponytail, wearing a black baseball hat, jacket, socks, green shorts and blue and yellow sneakers, was seen on video surveillance concealing and leaving the store with a $15 bottle of vodka without paying.
