    LINDEN - The truck fire that shut down the New Jersey Turnpike Tuesday also left workers stranded for hours in an industrial area after flames engulfed the overpass that carries their road over the highway. The South Wood Avenue overpass is the only route that accesses a stretch of Tremley Point Road and South Wood Avenue, home to the Linden Roselle Sewerage Authority and terminals run by NuStar Energy, Citgo Petroleum and Phillips 66. Mayor Derek Armstead said the bridge was reopened by about 2:15 p.m., more than three hours after a dump truck collided with it and caught fire.

    At approximately 8:07 a.m., Patrolman William Hannon conducted a motor vehicle stop on a 2007 Nissan on 1st Avenue at Locust Street in Roselle for an equipment violation. The driver of the vehicle, James Small, age 35 from Linden, was found to have an outstanding warrant out of Roselle Park Municipal Court for $539 and Middlesex County Sheriff's Department .
