    The June death of a 1-year-old Roseburg girl left alone for hours in a hot car by her mother presented no evidence of criminal wrongdoing and a manslaughter case against the parent will be dismissed, the Douglas County District Attorney announced Monday. District Attorney Richard Wesenberg said during a news conference there was no evidence to show Nicole Engler, 38, was aware Remington Engler was still in the car when the parent arrived at work in the morning or when she returned to the car a few hours later to get coffee at a business in the area.
