    The 5 Gramz Stop marijuana dispensary has been the subject of multiple raids by Kern County officials, most recently on Nov. 2 and again in August. ROSAMOND RAID - Kern County Sheriff's deputies arrested two men and seized marijuana and concentrate worth more than $55,000, when they executed search warrants at two Rosamond dispensaries on Nov. 2. NOT THE FIRST TIME - The 5 Gramz Stop marijuana dispensary has been the subject of multiple raids by Kern County officials, most recently on Nov. 2 and again in August.

    Rosamond Community Services District customers will soon notice the $1 monthly charge for street lights they've been seeing on their bills, will be gone, as the district moved Tuesday, to rescind the decades-old ordinance that established that payment. The District Board voted unanimously to remove the ordinance, which originally established lighting district assessments in 1968 and had been amended several times over the years - most recently in 1993.
