Lazare, 21, and Shakokwenni Stacey, 20, all of Kahnawake, Que., with two counts of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance early Sunday morning following a secondary inspection at the U.S. port of entry in Rooseveltown. Shakokwenni was additionally charged with unlawful possession of marijuana.

    Massena-based state police charged Cachemyr Mongeau Binette, 23, of 57 Rue de La Virone, Levis, Que., with a misdemeanor count of fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon following an incident early Friday evening at the U.S. port of entry in Rooseveltown. Mr. Binette was turned over to troopers by U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers after they located a collapsible straight baton in the center console of his vehicle during a secondary inspection at the port of entry.
