The department says unknown suspects burglarized the laundromat in the Monroe 31 plex in Rolla, cutting off laundry service for more than 30 households.

    A 43-year-old Rolla woman was sentenced Thursday to time served of 429 days for beating a man with a cane and aluminum rod or broomstick handle in April 2016, dragging his unconscious body into a shed and then securing the shed door with shoelace, wire and electrical cords. Joletta Annette Allery pleaded guilty in district court to aggravated assault and felonious restraint, both Class C felonies.
