    Deputies say Morris knew the man he stabbed, William Holland, found killed in his home just before 8 p.m. The Edgecombe County Sheriff's Office says they are looking for a suspect , following a fatal stabbing Tuesday night. Deputies say around 7:49 p.m. they responded to 5207 Temperance Hall Road in Elm City to a report of a stabbing.

    The Nash County Sheriff's office says a Rocky Mount man has been arrested after running up to an elderly person's vehicle and striking them. The suspect, 35 year old Daniel Edwards, allegedly followed a 69 year old person from I-95 North into Nashville on Hwy 58. Deputies say, as the vehicles came to a stop, Edwards jumped out and ran over to the elderly victim's vehicle, pulled the car door open, and struck the victim several times.
