The preliminary investigation revealed Todd Smith of Brownsburg was driving his 2008 Jeep westbound on U.S. 36 at 10 a.m. when he lost control on the slick roadway near Old U.S. 36, hit the guardrail and rolled over, coming to a rest in the middle of the highway.
