    Adrian Lamar Campbell, 28, was arrested in Charlotte on Thursday through a "collaborative effort" between the N.C. State Bureau of Investigation, Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department and detectives with the Rockingham Police Department, according to Chief Billy Kelly. Campbell is accused of shooting into a vehicle and a home on Glenwood Avenue Friday night, sending on person to the hospital with a bullet wound in the leg, Kelly told the Daily Journal.

    The Rockingham Police Department posted a request for help from the public Tuesday afternoon in locating 47-year-old Richard McFayden on an outstanding warrant, issued March 16, charging him with habitual larceny. Chief Billy Kelly said McFayden meets the criteria for the charge, since he has been convicted at least four times of misdemeanor larceny.

    A man with a history of assaults - spending the better part of the last 16 years behind bars - is facing multiple felony and misdemeanor rape-related charges. According to records with the Richmond County Jail and the N.C. Court System, 49-year-old Lency Donnell August has been charged with four counts of first-degree forcible rape, one count of first-degree kidnapping, one count of committing a crime against nature and possession of a firearm by a felon - all felonies.
