    A 56-year-old DeKalb man is in critical condition in a Rockford hospital after a two-vehicle crash Tuesday morning west of town, according to a news release from the DeKalb County Sheriff's Office and hospital staff. According to the release, Harold D. Adams, 60, of the 2700 block of Lunds Avenue in Rockford, was traveling south in a gold 2008 Saturn Aura about 5:30 a.m. on Glidden Road, south of Lettow Road.

Sosin, 33, of the 800 block of Stevens Avenue in Sycamore, has been free on $1,000 bail since early 2017, shortly after he was arrested on a warrant for aggravated battery.

DeKalb County Sheriff's Chief Deputy Andy Sullivan said Cavins was westbound in a black 2004 Chevrolet Monte Carlo just before 4:30 p.m. on Route 64 just west of McQueen Road when for reasons not yet known, it entered the eastbound lane.

    DeKALB - A Yorkville woman rolled her car while eluding police Saturday afternoon on Perry Road and said she did so because she didn't have a driver's license, according to a news release from the DeKalb County Sheriff's Office. Georgia R. Caputo, 19, of Lillian Lane, was going 75 mph in the 55 mph zone on Perry Road west of Waterman Road about 2:10 p.m. Saturday in a 2011 Ford sedan when a deputy tried to pull her over, but she accelerated, causing the deputy to terminate the traffic stop, the release said.
