About 10:40 p.m. Saturday, the McHenry Township Fire Protection District and McHenry Police Department responded to a report of a burned juvenile in the 4800 block of Shore Drive, according to McHenry police Officer Patrick Polidori.

    Federal authorities announced this week that two Lake County men were arrested recently by federal agents on charges of allegedly distributing heroin in the Rockford area last fall. Javier A. Perez, 37, of Park City and Jose Armando Ochoa-Lopez, 27, of Zion were both charged with distributing and conspiring to distribute 100 grams or more of heroin in Rockford in October of 2017, according to a statement issued Wednesday by the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Northern District of Illinois in Rockford.
