   The three games that win the popular vote will form a "players' choice" ballot, which will be counted among the 27 ballots votes from the International Selection Advisory Committee to help determine which of the 12 finalists will enter the hall of fame, The Strong National Museum of Play announced.

   The mystery of which toys earned the status of toy superstardom was solved Thursday with the announcement of the hall of fame's Class of 2017. The whodunit game Clue, where players also must name the crime scene and murder weapon, continues to sell millions of copies each year since being patented by a British couple during World War II.

5. Infant left outside in plastic bag released from hospital

   Authorities say an 8-month-old girl who survived being abandoned in a plastic bag left in an upstate New York yard has been released from a hospital. Police in Elmira say Wednesday that the baby recently was released from Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester.
