    The Jaffrey Board of Selectmen recently learned that a group of Rindge residents has submitted a petition warrant article to the Jaffrey-Rindge School Board that, if adopted, would change the existing school funding formula, decreasing the cost for Rindge taxpayers while substantially increasing the cost for Jaffrey taxpayers Jaffrey officials were not approached by the Rindge petitioners to discuss this matter before the article was submitted. Also, this article was submitted very late in the school budgeting process, allowing no time for the school or select boards to either study the issues raised or verify claims made by the petitioners.
