Ridgefield-based Fairfield County Bank took over the location in May 2007 from JPMorgan Chase, with deposits peaking last June at $38.2 million or 3.5 percent of the Trumbull market, according to data on file with the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp. In its namesake county, Fairfield County Bank was eighth in market share at last report with deposits of $1 billion across 15 offices.

    The Fairfield office of Shelton-based William Raveis Real Estate in its recent market overview for January found sales in its bailiwick down more than 25 percent compared with January 2015, to 35 units sold from 47. The Fairfield median price in January, however, was $652,920, up 15 percent from $569,000 in the year-earlier period. The price per square foot for Fairfield in January was $318, stronger than in December when the figure was $290, but down from $379 in January 2015.
