Doug LaMalfa, R-Richvale, received over $1.7 million in traditional farm subsidies from 1995 to 2016, the most of current members of Congress, according to a report released Thursday by the Environmental Working Group, a not-for-profit organization. The Dsl LaMalfa Family Partnership, of which the congressman holds a 33 percent share, did not collect any U.S. Department of Agriculture subsidies from 2013-2016, according to the nonprofit's farm subsidy database.
