    Police identified the man shot and killed on St. John Street in Richmond Wednesday afternoon as 34-year-old Dante L. Suber, of the 2300 block of Ambrose Street. Police responded to the shooting in Gilpin Court at about 1:40 p.m. "He was taken to a local hospital where he succumbed to his injuries later that day," Richmond Police spokeswoman Susan Rowland wrote in an email.
