"We expected to be up in June, but we're very pleased with the results," said Linda King, president of the Savannah Area Realtors. Inventory started the year at 7.33 months, but has dropped nearly each month since then.

That prompted the city to hire Steve Croy, principal with the Croy Group LLC, to use his contacts in the state government to get the project back on track, the mayor said.
