    The Tri-Cities area had well over 100 crashes in 24 hours between Thursday and Friday evening following an ice storm that started shortly after 5 p.m. While they could not say exactly how many of them were due to icy weather conditions, they said it's safe to assume slick roads played a factor in most of them. Additionally, the Benton County Sheriff's office said it has responded to numerous crashes.
