    A pair of former municipal workers in Rensselaer, located just across the Hudson River from the state capitol, are being sentenced for their role in a scrap metal theft scheme, according to Attorney General Eric Schneiderman and Comptroller Tom DiNapoli. Schneiderman and DiNapoli have been working together to chase down government abuse and wrongdoers, forming something of a alternate oversight role - which is distinct from agencies like the Inspector General which is under Gov.
