    In a hearing Tuesday, the Washoe County Board of Commissioners unanimously overturned an appeal, a decision that grants a special use permit to the Washoe County School District and paves the way for future construction of Arrowcreek middle school.  Commissioners initially denied the special use permit after concerns were raised about the adequacy of utilities, roadway improvements, sanitation, water supply and drainage in the proposed area.  The proposed site is located north of Arrowcreek Parkway, west of Thomas Creek Road and east of Crossbow Court where existing schools - Hunsberger Elementary and Sage Ridge School - are located. There were parents in attendance both for and against the location of the middle school.
